★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2021年10月12日に訪れました。現在は、役場が建っています。軽米氏の居城でしたが、天正19年1591年の九戸政実の乱にくみしたため、乱後に没落しています。代わって北信愛の三男愛継が、この地を治めました。1665年の南部藩主相続問題で幕府の裁定により、八戸藩が支藩として独立し、軽米も八戸藩になりました。そのため、北氏は、秋田県鹿角市の大湯に転封となりました。その後は、八戸藩の代官所が置かれ、明治維新を迎えています。

Instead, Aitsugu Kita, the third son of Nobuai Kita, ruled the land. By the ruling of the Shogunate on the issue of inheritance of the southern feudal lord in 1665, the Hachinohe domain became independent as a branch domain, and Karumai became the Hachinohe domain. Therefore, Mr. Kita was transferred to Oyu in Kazuno City, Akita Prefecture. After that, the representative office of the Hachinohe domain was set up, and the Meiji Restoration was celebrated.
