★ ★ ★ ★ ★ かつて良質な大理石を産出した大理石海岸。明治40年から10年間産出。日本橋三越のライオン像の台座につかわれている。その後、観光地化し親しまれていたが、東日本大震災の津波による防潮堤工事のため周辺は立ち入り禁止になっている。
