ダム湖の景観も素晴らしい。
You can see it in front from the opposite road.
The view of the dam lake is also wonderful.

It is a powerful dam with 20 radial gates. The fortress-like power plant is also spectacular.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 新潟水俣病をおこした昭和電工誘致のきっかけとなった発電所・・・という目で見てみました。その大きさも含め、何とも言えないベクトルを感じました。新潟の資料館に行ってから見たので、なおさらすごかった。国策と企業の犠牲になったさびれた鹿瀬町・・・原発と福島の避難区域と通じるものを感じました。絶対おすすめ。
I looked at the power plant that triggered the attraction of Showa Denko, which caused Minamata disease in Niigata. I felt an indescribable vector, including its size. I saw it after I went to the museum in Niigata, so it was even more amazing. A deserted Kanose town that was sacrificed by national policy and companies ... I felt something similar to the nuclear power plant and the evacuation area in Fukushima. Absolutely recommended.
