 The souvenir shop was also calm and beautiful. I think the view from the fishing port was also outstandingly good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 長時間待つにはキツいかも。一番上迄は徒歩、階段で登っていきますが、キツイ、で下は怖い！
中には中華料理屋がありましたが、お盆の時期だからか一杯で予約した人だけへの営業でした。
It may be hard to wait for a long time. I walk to the top and climb the stairs, but it's hard and scary at the bottom!
There was a Chinese restaurant inside, but it was open only to those who made a reservation because it was during the Obon festival.

ここから下北半島に向かいますが、運が良ければイルカと出会えるそうです。
残念ながら私は会えませんでしたが。
Mutsu Bay Ferry Terminal. The boarding procedure is done here.
From here we head to the Shimokita Peninsula, but if you are lucky you can meet dolphins.
Unfortunately I couldn't meet.

I visited during a break from Tsugaru Peninsula cycling. The ferry was just berthing, so I took a look at it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 何も調べず冬に行ったからか展望台まで上ることはできませんでした。上らなくても開けた綺麗な海を見られたので、今度はぜひ上から見てみたいです。
I couldn't go up to the observatory probably because I went there in winter without checking anything. I could see the beautiful open sea without going up, so I definitely want to see it from above.
