★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My main positive comment is that, unlike a lot of food I've eaten in and around Tokyo so far, the spicy dishes were actually spicy. However, other than that I was disappointed by the flavour, texture and value. I found the garlic butter potato inedible, a waste of 800¥, which is so much for a portion of cold fries with an unbearably sweet powder on them. Reasonably cheap drinks went some way to making up for the price of the food, but nowhere near enough. One of the most expensive meals I've had in Japan (with the exception of yakiniku) and by far the least appetising food.

But the food is great and the service is good.
Actually, we dont know this restaurant is Kang Ho Dong Chicken until I finished eating. No wonder the food is good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is bit more expensive than the competitors but they have a few unique flavors that you can't buy anywhere else.
I visited this place a few times and the last time it was a take-out combo of crispy fried chicken and sweet pudding flavored chicken (sounds bad, but trust me, it is amazingly good). The chicken was amazing as usual. And I am ready to have it again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chicken was crunchy, juicy, and delicious. The service was fast and friendly. Did not wait more than 5 minutes to get our drinks and wasn’t too much longer to get our food. Overall, great chicken and great service. Went there two days in a row. No BS.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Solid 3.5 stars, maybe more. I ordered takeout. I got the three flavors boneless fried chicken set. The chicken was really crispy, nicely sauced. The meat was moist and the pieces were bite-size. The set came with a salad, radish pickels and relish. They gave me a free coke. It was all well packed and still warm when I got it home. I will order this again.
