★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この明大マートは明治にしては良い店。全国各地に転勤しても上京の際、愛用してます。とはいえ、明大は嫌いな大学の一つ。応援団がダメダメ。あれは20年以上前、21世紀になるかならぬかの頃。神宮球場は一日二試合。一塁側に陣取った第一試合の東大が9回にリードされて最後の攻撃に入っていた。チャンスになり、少ないながらも東大応援席が盛り上がりかけていた。すると、隣り合わせで次の試合を待っていた明大応援席がすくなからぬ観客数を擁して、なんと大声で練習を始めた。リーダー部が指導していた。東大のか細い応援は、野太い声で周囲を圧する明大の応援練習に掻き消されがちに。これ以来、明治応援団が大嫌いに。もっとも後年、部内のイジメで自殺発生。リーダー部は、あえなくお取り潰し。今はどうなってるのかサッパリわからんが、驕りたかぶっていた報いだろう。せいぜいおきばりやす。
