冬の平日はグラウンドでスキー授業。週末の下校時にスキーを持ち帰り、日曜はおにぎりを持って金谷山でスキー（レルヒ像の下でお昼）。で、月曜朝にスキーを抱えて登校…でした。当時は、雁木の中、重たいスキーの持ち運びは大変でしたが、今となれば楽しい思い出です。
雪がなくても、ずっと残していってほしいですね。
I'm from an elementary school in Takada.
Ski classes on the ground on weekdays in winter. I took my skis home when I left school on the weekends, and on Sundays I went skiing at Kanayayama with rice balls (lunch under the Lerch statue). So, I went to school with skis on Monday morning. At that time, it was difficult to carry heavy skis in the ganki, but now it is a fun memory.
Even if there is no snow, I want you to leave it for a long time.

夏はボブスレーで遊べます。
金谷山は日本スキー発祥の地として知られており、スキーを伝えたレルヒ少佐の大きな銅像があります。
遊歩道も整備されており、里山を散策するのも楽しいです。

In summer you can play with bobsled.
Mt. Kanaya is known as the birthplace of Japanese skiing, and there is a large statue of Major Lerhi who introduced skiing.
There is a promenade and it is fun to stroll around the satoyama.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日本スキー発祥の地と言われる歴史的なスキー場。より急な勾配をもつ男山とゆるやかな女山、そして男山と女山を結ぶ、尾根道。いずれもゲレンデとしては短い距離ですが、雪の中を効率的に移動するというスキーの本来の役割、原点を感じることのできるスキー場だと思います。ちなみに、夏はボブスレー、ピクニックやハイキングを楽しむことができます。
A historic ski resort that is said to be the birthplace of Japanese skiing. The ridge road that connects Otoyama with a steeper slope with a gentle woman mountain, and Otoyama with Woman mountain. All of them are short distances on the slope, but I think that it is a ski resort where you can feel the original role and origin of skiing to move efficiently in the snow. By the way, you can enjoy bobsled, picnic and hiking in summer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2019.2.2～2.3 レルヒ祭やってました。この金谷山スキー場のリフトは無料で、屋台も出ており、おもてなし武将隊の演武やら、高校生によるバンド演奏やら、アットホームなイベントでした。小さな子供がいる人はソリや雪中宝探しを楽しまれてました。ただ、イベント以外だと少し物足りないかもしれません。
2019.2.2 - 2.3 We were doing Lelch festival. The lift of this Kananiyama ski resort is free, there are stalls, the performance of the hospitality battalion troops, the band performances by high school students, and the athome event. People with small children were enjoying sledding and treasure hunting in the snow. However, it may be a little unsatisfactory if it is not an event.
