伊	伊藤善久（Yoshihisa Ito） on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 和泉公園横の小さな敷地に鎮座する。御祭神は金綱稲荷大明神。創建年は慶長6年　1601年。（昭和55年　1980年に書かれた物の中に 379年前と言う表記があるから計算してみた）この神社は日本通運の始祖　飛脚問屋である京屋弥兵衛が、まだ混乱も収まらない1601年に、伏見稲荷を勧請し世間からの信用を得た事に由来する。 2018年頃まで隣に日通の建物があったと記憶しているのだが、 2019年8月現在、その建物は無くなっている。 JR東日本　東京メトロ秋葉原駅の昭和通り口から徒歩で5分程度の場所。 It sits on a small site next to Izumi Park. T	Tangerine Mountain on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Inari Shrine is tucked away in the quiet section of Akiba. While I am unsure of the date of construction for this particular Inari Shrine, by local accounts, this shrine is related to Nippon Express, whose founder invited the diety Oinari (Inari Okami / 稲荷大神) to visit prosperity upon Nippon Express as a growing shipping business. The Inari seemed to respond, and brought great prosperity to the company, which grew from a small company for mainly small government document transport to the international shipping and freight giant it is today. (Fun fact: Since its founding in 1937, Nippon Express has carried such precious cargo as the Mona Lisa itself, when the painting went on its last tour to Japan and Russia in 1974.) Many local people will leave offerings to Inari Okami at this shrine, and staff from USA-based kimono business Tangerine Mountain Imports & Designs will always visit and make offerings this particular shrine at least once per visit to Japan. It is a beautifully kept and powerful place!
