★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A valley hutte with historical significance. Been run by the same family for generations. Original part of the building has traditional fire in center of room. Great place to lounge and socialize with other hikers. Food I also traditional and Tommy, tigerfish and mountain potato.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed one night here. It was amazing! They have a fire place in the ground and we sat around the fire with the owner and sang songs. He invited us to beer and home made sake. The owner doesn't speak English, but some of the staff can speak basic English and we could talk. I absolutely recommend this place! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to take a pause from hiking and enjoy some simple food. The fish are caught from the stream running below the entrance bridge to the restaurant. The building itself is charming with a fire pit irori to grill the fish. Weather permitting, the outside seats are fantastic.
