★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 小川城、城主の園部氏、芹沢氏に仕えた井坂家の城跡です。
現在は教信寺が建っている小高い丘を中心として、館（たて）が築かれていたようです。
また、城名は“りゅうがい”と呼びますが、城塞研究家の間では“要害”が訛って呼称されるようになったと考えられているようです。
