★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 春一番の花の咲き始めとして梅が楽しみなのですが、桜が開花するまでにもう少し間があると思っていたら思いがけずに桜の花に出会える場所です。たった一本の桜の木が玉川上水に畔に綺麗に花を咲かせる風情は絵になりますね。訪れるのはいつもバイクです。車は道が狭いため駐車場所がありませんので、徒歩の場合は西武拝島線の武蔵砂川駅から徒歩3分程度でい訪れる方がよいと思います。ついでに玉川上水に沿って西武立川駅まで30分から1時間のお散歩もお薦めです。
I'm looking forward to the plum blossoms as the first blossoms in spring, but if you think that there will be a little more time before the cherry blossoms bloom, this is a place where you can meet cherry blossoms unexpectedly. The graceful appearance of a single cherry tree on the banks of Tamagawa Josui is picturesque. I always visit a motorcycle. There is no parking place for cars because the road is narrow, so if you are walking, it would be better to visit it within 3 minutes on foot from Musashi Sunagawa Station on the Seibu Haijima Line. We also recommend taking a walk from Tamagawa Josui to Seibu Tachikawa Station for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 小さな橋にちっぽけな桜が二本あるだけ。がっかりした。近くの私道のしだれ梅のほうがりっぱだった。
There are only two small cherry blossoms on a small bridge. Disappointed. The weeping plums on the driveway nearby were finer.

I went there because it was Kawazu cherry blossoms, but nothing was in bloom. It's not strange that it's about to bloom, but is it really Kawazu Sakura?
