訪れるまで知らなかった「見登呂のお姫様」の悲しき伝承...訪れると説明板があるので一通り読んで理解したうえで石仏と対面。同じ見土呂の地に現在は名前だけ残っている「井ノ口城」（ここの説明は井口城）城主の娘・美しい姫様に一目ぼれした武士が告白したが断られ、逆上したあげく姫を刺殺し裏山に埋めたとされており当時の住民により供養の石仏が建てられたとのことです。ここから井ノ口城まで直線で410mあまり、ここが裏山だったのかはさておき、一般住民にも知られた大事件だったんだろうと思いますし、石仏を建てたことから当時の城主と領民の関係は良かったのかなと想いを馳せたりもします。石棺仏ではなく石仏なのもポイントですが、結構傾斜しており少しこの先が気になる場所でもあります。車で訪れる場合、町内会の看板が出ている場所に停車出来るのですが個人的なお勧めは「見土呂農村公園」の駐車場へ停車するのをお勧めします。最後に、この場所は墓地の一角であること、民家が周りにあるので配慮して訪れてください

"Inoguchi Castle" (the explanation here is Iguchi Castle), whose name remains in the same land of Midoro, was confessed by a samurai who fell in love with the beautiful princess, the daughter of the castle owner. It is said that it was stabbed and buried in the back mountain, and a memorial stone Buddha was built by the residents at that time. A straight line from here to Inoguchi Castle is about 410m, and regardless of whether this was a back mountain, I think it was a big incident known to the general public, and since the stone Buddha was built, the relationship between the castle owner and the territory at that time was I also wonder if it was good. The point is that it is not a sarcophagus but a stone buddha, but it is quite inclined and it is also a place to be a little worried about the future. If you visit by car, you can stop at the place where the neighborhood association sign is displayed, but my personal recommendation is to stop at the parking lot of "Midoro Rural Park". Lastly, please be aware that this place is a part of the graveyard and there are private houses around.

美登呂町内会の方が保存している美登呂姫の石仏です。看板の所に駐車スペースがありますが、公共の場所なのか私有地なのか判別不能　石仏周辺は整備されています

It is a stone Buddha statue of Princess Mitoro preserved by the Midoro Neighborhood Association. There is a parking space at the signboard, but it is not possible to distinguish whether it is a public place or private land. The area around the stone Buddha is maintained.
