c	chups 75 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 曹洞宗の衣文観音として知られ、本尊は釈迦牟尼仏。堂内に安置されている十一面観世音菩薩は仏師運慶の作で、金沢城主前田利家の御守本尊であったといわれている。前田利国が難病にかかった折に、手を尽くしたが治癒せず、観音様への祈祷を続けたところ、夢の中で観音様よりお告げがあり、それに従い作った薬によって21日間で難病が治癒したという開運、病難除の観音様として信仰されている。伝説「衣文の里」がある。 Known as the Buddhist Kannon of Soto Buddhism, the main deity is Buddha Shakyamuni.
