R	Ryobee M. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 創建年は不明ですが歴史があり非常に古くからあるお寺のようです。かつては景勝が非常に良かったらしく「神崎寺の晩鐘」は千波八景の一つに数えられています。光圀も度々訪れ、お気に入りの桜の名所でもあったのだとか。また幕末には斉昭の命で「神崎鋳砲所」が境内に置かれ、大砲が鋳造されたそうです。因みに正式名称は笠原山東光院神崎寺(かみさきじ)で、真言宗豊山派。開運水戸不動として信仰されているようです。また「北関東三十六不動尊霊場」の二十七番札所であり、「常陸三十三観音霊場」の一番札所です。境内はとても綺麗に掃き清められていて、大きな鐘楼や観音堂、不動堂、太子堂…などもあり、大きなお寺なのに人が少なく静かなので不思議な感じです。県指定文化財となっている平安時代の銅製の経筒や木造の不動明王立像があるそうですが一般公開はしていないようです。 The building year is unknown, but it seems to be a temple with a long history.
