★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 京王線の上北沢駅の近く、住宅街にある桜並木。
せたがや百景にも選ばれている。
私の好きな桜のスポット。
住宅街のまっすぐに伸びた道路の両側に桜が植えられていて桜のトンネルになる。
そのトンネルの向こうに京王線の電車が走る姿もいい。
桜はかなり樹齢のいった老木も多く、最近はそのソメイヨシノに代わって神代曙という品種の桜が植えられている。
その花はソメイヨシノより赤みを帯びている。
毎年桜まつりが行われているがコロナの影響で昨年に続き今年も中止となった。

My favorite cherry blossom spot.
Cherry blossoms are planted on both sides of the straight road in the residential area, forming a tunnel of cherry blossoms.
It is also nice to see the Keio Line train running over the tunnel.
Many of the cherry trees are quite old, and recently, instead of the Yoshino cherry tree, a variety of cherry blossoms called Kamidai Akira has been planted.
The flowers are redder than Somei Yoshino.
The Sakura Festival is held every year, but due to the influence of Corona, it was canceled this year as well as last year.
