It is also called a cherry blossom. Both of these legends are true, as Mr. Kuwashima seems to be a clan of landlords who loved tree planting before the Date clan. I think it was a cherry blossom presented by Sakanoue Tamura Maro who fell in love with Mr. Kuwashima's daughter. And it is a tradition that Mr. Tamura (a clan of Date Masamune's Seishitsu) who ruled Miharu is a descendant of Sakanoue Tamura Maro. This cherry blossom has a rather pretty beauty in the behavior of the dark night rather than its majesty. It is also called Kubo Sakura, and it is said that this cherry tree was planted by Shogen Kuwashima, a vassal of Date who lived in the Warring States period, after his wife Odama and his child died. Currently, the central part of the trunk of the cherry tree has decayed and is hollow, and it is difficult to identify the age of the tree, but it is said that the estimated age of the tree is about 1200 years. With the warm protection of the locals, every year around the end of April, the branches are filled with beautiful crimson flowers.
