切符の購入はできません。
駅舎入って１番ホームは正面ですが、２番ホームへは構内踏切に階段がありますのでバリアフリーに対応していません。

盛岡駅～当駅の列車が社会実験で増発された事もありました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2020年12月14日に訪問しました。駅舎を活用して喫茶店かつ漆工芸品の展示販売所兼、漆の植林事業を行う林業事務所といった感じの変わった建物です。安代塗の工房で、この事務所を紹介していただきました。漆の植林を開始して2年目とのことでした。国産漆が不足している状況なので、救世主かもしれません。漆ばかりではなく、木地となる広葉樹の話も出て、話が尽きませんでした。お忙しい中、勉強させていただいて、有り難うございました。
I visited on December 14, 2020. It is a strange building that utilizes the station building as a coffee shop, an exhibition and sales office for lacquer crafts, and a forestry office that conducts lacquer planting business. I was introduced to this office at the Ashiro Nuri workshop. It was the second year since we started planting lacquer. It may be a savior because there is a shortage of domestic lacquer. Not only lacquer, but also the story of hardwood, which is the base of wood, was mentioned, and the story was endless. Thank you for studying while you are busy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ここで臨時快速を待っていたんだけど到着予定時間10分前になって車両故障で運休の放送があり、しばらく体が硬直してしまいました。正月休みでバスも走ってなく仕方なく町中まで歩いてタクシーを呼び盛岡駅迄戻りました。もっと早く教えてくれれば行き先を変更出来たのになぁ。
I was waiting for a temporary rapid train here, but 10 minutes before the scheduled arrival time, there was a broadcast of suspension due to a vehicle breakdown, and my body became stiff for a while. During the New Year holidays, I had no choice but to walk to the town and call a taxi to return to Morioka station. I wish I could change my destination if I could tell you earlier.
