★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昔ながらの広い銭湯。番台のおばちゃん親切。夕方行くと賑やかな老人会に会えます。外壁側のシャワーが壊れているのが寂しいので直してくれたら最高。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 本日の銭湯。江東区の亀の湯。工場「こうば」が多い土地柄か、ガタイの宜しい年長白髪の方々と。タイル画は壁一面に天草大橋。恐らく天草所縁の店主か。つい最近まで木のサッシだったのでは？と思わせる、番台が浴場と向かい合わせの昭和スタイル。使い込まれてはいるが、生活に馴染んでいて地元に愛されているなぁ…と。天井の色や鏡の古さなど、これからも残っていて欲しい時間の痕跡が慈しい。地下水の冷たくて気持ち良いのも、昭和銭湯ならでは。

スタンダードなTHE銭湯。
番台、高い天井、大きな鏡、ロッカー上のタオルやシャンプー等の販売ショーケースに坪庭。
浴室には、九十九島のようなタイル絵。男女の境に富士山のタイル絵。お湯はちょうど良い温度の深湯とブクブク気持ちいい広めの浅湯。
水風呂は無いですが、せめて水の立ちシャワーがあるとなぁ～。
シメのコーヒー牛乳は健在です?
ドライヤー無料でした。
常連さんに愛されてる感じがして、ほっこりします。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 戦前からの営業だそうです。その当時は仕事を終えた方々用に有り、空襲などにもあわず現在の方が商っているそうです。（当時とは道路なども違うそうです。）
下足入れが左右に有るため、ドアを開けると番台があります。
脱衣場の天井には、昔ながらの吊り下がった扇風機が目に入ります。外に目をやると小庭があります。
さて、浴槽は二つ有り、大と小です。大は大人横６人はゆったり浸かれる広さで、ジェット３と泡が有り、隅には踏台と同じ高さの造りとなっていて、半身浴には他の方へ邪魔にもならない立地です。小は大より２５センチ深く、底で繋がっています。湯温は大が４１度、小が４２度強です。
カランの湯温は湯を水で調整する使い勝手の良い温度です。シャワーが一部には有りませんが、湯桶があれば十分です。
天草五橋と富士山のタイル画が湯舟と仕切りを飾っています。
シャンプーやボディーソープは浴室内に設置されています。
燃料はガスだそうです。
高い天井に心癒されます。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 暖簾をくぐると、男湯、女湯とで別々の入口で、番台におばちゃんが座っているという昔ながらの銭湯です。
お湯は砂町のほかの銭湯よりも熱くなく44度を下回っていました。
壁絵はモザイクタイルを使った瀬戸内の風景など、一周まわってモダンです。
風呂上がりに、砂町銀座を楽しみながら帰れるというのも良いところです。
