しかし、橋から楽に見下ろせるし、変な名前なのもpointかも。
釜額集落の入口に、明治初期まで関所があって、静岡の根原とを結ぶ最短の重要ルートだったとある。
変な名前は、街道筋の盗人が詰んだ地点であった為だろうか。
ちなみに、この滝の少し下にある宮前橋の袂に林道栃代釜額線の終点標柱があり、反対側の栃代側には起点標柱がある。直線距離でも三キロほどの未成区間があるが、恐らく未来永劫完抜けは無いと思われる。

It is said that there was a sekisho at the entrance of the Kamabata Village until the early Meiji era, and it was the shortest important route connecting Shizuoka's Nehara.
Maybe the weird name was a place packed with street thieves?
By the way, at the end of Miyamaebashi, just below this waterfall, there is a terminal post on the Tochishiro Kamabori line, and on the other side there is a starting post. Although there is an undeveloped section of about 3 km in straight line distance, it seems that there will be no eternal perfection in the future.

水は澄んでいて綺麗でした。
It takes about 15 minutes from Route 300.
The water was clear and clean.

この先に本栖湖登山道入り口がありましたが本栖湖まで続いているかは不明です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 二股に分かれた小さな滝だ。ただ、似たような滝が二つあるので、どちらが夜盗詰滝なのかよく分からない。
面白い名前の滝なので、由来の案内がないか探したが見つからなかった。
特に駐車場は無いが、停められる場所はそれなりにある。
