Ryokujuan Shimizu, a long-established specialty store of Konpeito with its main store in Kyoto, has opened a store in Umesaka. I visited the main store once and was impressed by the deliciousness of konpeito here. It can be preserved, so it is highly recommended for souvenirs and confectionery folding. This store is quite small, and there are fewer types than the main store. There was a lineup of standard product sachets and their assortments, seasonal products and high-grade items such as esterators. It was good that the clerk who responded when I purchased it was also polite. The last time I saw him off, he was a very beautiful brother. Originally, konpeito was in a beautiful box or container, so he gave me a paper bag for handing over. I had as many paper bags as the number of products I bought, but I can't say that one is for myself ... This time, as a gift, I bought seasonal autumn confectionery sugar (with muscat flavor and quince flavor) and milk flavor for myself. I really like the place where the konpeito here spreads its taste and aroma when chewed. It's fun to eat the flavor that pops in your mouth the moment you chew. Depending on the type of sachet, which is a standard product, the flavor may seem a little cheap, but even so, you may be surprised when you first eat it. The higher the grade, the better the quality of the flavor that spreads and the more delicious it is. The konpeito of the milk I bought this time also spread at the moment when the mellow sweet milk taste was chewed. It was written that jersey milk was used, but it is not very rich and has a light milk taste. It's delicious when you chew it, so it quickly disappears from your mouth and you can't help but stretch your hands.

Konpeito for about 600 yen for 45g. It's expensive but I think it's worth buying. Good for petit luxury and souvenirs.
