★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「鹿教湯温泉二十一番名所めぐり」の１つ｢第13番｣。第11番｢月見堂｣から更に200mほど急斜面を登る事になりますが、道らしい道も無いので、とにかく頂上行き止まりに突き当るまで上へ上へと登りましょう。無事たどり着けたなら、内村川と温泉街が眼下に見下ろせます。
"No. 13", one of the "Twenty Ichiban Famous Places of Kakyoyu Onsen". You will have to climb a steep slope about 200m further from the 11th "Tsukimi-do", but there is no road like a road, so let's climb up until you reach the dead end of the summit. If you arrive safely, you can look down on the Uchimura River and the hot spring town.

積雪で山道が滑りやすくなっているので注意が必要。道幅も狭く急です。転がり落ちる可能性もあるので自己責任でのハイクになります。スパイク長靴や軽アイゼン、ストックがあると安心。展望台までは20分くらいで登れますが月見堂から稲荷神社までが特に注意が必要。滑り台みたいになってます！展望台からは鹿教湯温泉街が一望できてなかなかよいですが無理せず雪のない時期に登ることをおすすめします！

Be careful as the mountain road becomes slippery due to snow. The road is narrow and steep. It is possible to roll down, so it is a hike at your own risk. It is safe to have spike boots, light crampons, and stock. You can reach the observatory in about 20 minutes, but you need to be especially careful from Tsukimido to Inari Shrine. It looks like a slide! It's nice to have a panoramic view of the Kakyoyu Onsen town from the observatory, but we recommend climbing without overdoing it when there is no snow!
