I came on New Year's Day.
Because it was New Year's Day, it was very crowded, and many children with diapers were taking a bath.
As you can see, I couldn't take a bath together.
There is no hot water in some places on the shower stand, only water.
However, because the customers who did not use the shower took up space with their luggage, people who could not use the shower were wandering around.
I would be grateful if you could ask for shower maintenance and prohibition of taking place with luggage.

The cherry blossoms are wonderful this year as well. The number of customers is small, so you can enjoy it without worrying about the distance.

I love the facilities and the quality of the spring, and have been going there for over 10 years.
I don't know if I'm going to get older, but it's painful that the annoyance of both local residents, Jijii, is increasing with the aging of the population.
It doesn't matter if it's a corona bruise. Otsumu and his ears are bad and his voice is noisy. Even if you enter the sauna, "Uh ~~" "Ah ~~"
3 to 5 people talk endlessly in the lukewarm bathtub of the indoor bath.
At a volume that makes me think I'm talking to someone 50 meters away.
Even if you want to relax at your favorite hot spring, you may get frustrated and get tired and go home.
After leaving, I told my wife that the men's bath was always noisy.
I'd like you to put about 20 sheets of silent bath posters in the place of lukewarm water.
It's still painful because there is no fault in the facility.

Search for a shop on Google Maps to eat lunch at the southern end of Nagano prefecture. Since it is a dining room attached to a one-day hot spring facility, it is also a hot spring after meals, so today's lunch place is decided to be here "Kajika-tei". I often wonder what to eat in front of the ticket machine when I enter the store. Speaking of Shinshu, "soba" and "gohei mochi" are also famous in South Shinshu. While there was a set meal that combined delicious local foods, I thought, "What kind of Aji fry do you eat at this restaurant in the mountains at the southern end of Nagano Prefecture?" Decided to "set meal"! When I was looking at the store while drinking cold tea, an Aji fry set meal was brought to me. The plump horse mackerel wrapped in crispy batter is the best match with the sweet and rich flavor sauce, and the rice goes on. I'm glad I could eat Aji fry set meal at this shop. Thank you for the meal. (^ o ^)

The bathroom is large and the open-air bath is open and comfortable. The space around the open-air bath is large, and everyone will be able to relax on the deck chairs and be healed by the scenery of the mountains. There is also a full-scale sauna and it's quite hot (laughs) The quality of the hot springs is good and the skin becomes glossy ? It's a little disappointing that the relaxing space after the bath is a little small and it's kind of uncomfortable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a hidden treasure, congratulations on finding it somehow!
The onsen is probably the main attraction for most, and it's quite nice. It gets very popular at times, with many locals and out-of-towners filling up the parking lot (which may not be such a good thing during COVID-19 times). The main building has a restaurant and offers many amenities, as well a a gift shop that has lots of unique items, from shampoo to blueberry sauce, that you might not easily find anywhere else in the area.
Beyond the onsen though, this place also offers cabins, or コテージ, at a very reasonable rate, along with a camping area. The cabins can comfortably sleep a large group or family, and feature a surprisingly good kitchen setup that includes a refrigerator, a gas range, and rice cooker. The cabins have kotatsu tables, television sets, and balconies overlooking the river just a few steps away. One thing they don't have is Wi-Fi, so if you need that, perhaps stay elsewhere or make arrangements for it, such as getting a pocket Wi-Fi.
If you're still reading this then I'm going to tell you the best thing about Kajika no Yu: the pottery master's shop. Have you dreamed of molding clay with your own hands? Do you want to try creating something unique and all your own? Then you need to come here. The sensei is kind and extremely knowledgeable, as are the others who work with him. If you want to try using the potter's wheel, ろくろ, working with just your hands, 手びねり, or something more advanced, there's a place here to do it. Whether you're a beginner who's never touched unfired clay before, or an expert who's been working with clay for years, there's fun to be had and something for you to learn. If you don't care for pottery, or would like to do something else, the shop also has a glass making side where you can use beautiful colored glass to make your own little creations, as well as use various other materials too.
All in all, definitely worth a visit, if you can find your way through the mountains. Be sure not to miss the turn off the bridge, there's only one road to Kajika no Yu!
