★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super tasty vegetarian food (the curry was excellent) at a good price with an amazing view. The sweet potato desert is also nothing short of incredible, I really hope I can get something that comes at least close to it elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although we experienced Japanese to be generally very polite, the waiter supposed to show us to the table was arrogant and rude. Apparently he doesn't like tourists or foreigners. Unfortunately there wasn't a manager around to complain about his behavior. However, view is good and food satisfactory.

We had pretty much everything from the small menu; the curry was fine but the rice coming with it wasn’t as nice as usual Japanese rice; the pasta was ok and the veg bun was alright; With such a small menu it could be better!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really didn't expect this place to be so divisive. Understand that this restaurant is run by the Buddhist temple, and the staff is mostly Buddhist monks in training. You will experience a more restrained form of customer service than in private-owned restaurants. The food is simple, healthy, vegetarian and delicious. All the ingredients are very fresh, I had the pasta but the curry was a bit better in my opinion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really happy to find a Japanese restaurant only serve vegetarian food. Their curry is so good, I even bought the food package home. Great ocean view, it is nice to sit here when it was 30 degree outside. I also like their steam bun, not bad for vege bun.
