★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駅員さんも優しい！ おおらかに対応してくださるので思わずゆっくりしたくなる場所。
ただ、ちゃんと迷惑のかからないようにこちらが配慮するべき。 地元の方々が使われる「駅」ですからね。
 The station staff is also kind! A place where you will want to relax involuntarily because you will be easygoing.
However, we should be careful not to bother you properly. It's a "station" used by locals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 撮影のお仕事で、初めて訪れました。夜だったんですけど、めちゃ味のある駅。めでたい線の始発駅。たまにすみっこぐらしのキャラクタートレインもやって来ますよ。海からすぐ近くだし、和歌山市駅までも20数分。のんびりいかがですか？
I visited for the first time because of my photography work. It was night, but it was a very tasty station. The first station on the Medetai Line. Occasionally, Sumikko Gurashi's character train will come. It is very close to the sea and 20 minutes to Wakayamashi station. How is it relaxing?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2021.9.24 金曜日 平日 孫と一緒に「めでたいでんしゃ」初めて乗りました。今日乗ったのは「なな」。母「さち」と父親「かい」の子どもです。2021.9.18出発進行したのは「かしら」。母親「さち」の兄です。
今日乗ったのは子供の「なな」、赤い二両編成電車。加太駅を出発して八つめの「和歌山市」駅までのんびり乗車でした。【加太さかな線を泳ぐ、めでたい電車の家族】みんなに乗りたいなー。
2021.9.24 Friday Weekday I rode the "Medetai Densha" for the first time with my grandson. The one I got on today was "Nana". It is a child of mother "Sachi" and father "Kai". 2021.9.18 It was "I wonder" that the departure progressed. He is the older brother of his mother "Sachi".
Today I got on the child's "Nana", a red two-car train. It was a leisurely ride from Kada station to the 8th "Wakayamashi" station. [Family of a happy train swimming on the Kada Kana line] I want to ride everyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 加太さかな線に改名され、観光列車が走るようになってから、加太は、デートスポットとなり、若い世代の来訪者が増えているようです。
加太自体は漁港町で、観光資源としては、小さな海水浴場と古い温泉旅館、淡島神社がある程度なのですが。
鉄道が観光地の立役者となっている好例のようです。
観光列車めでたいでんしゃは、なな、かい、さちに加えて、かしらも登場しました。加太には、各車の運行情報を調べてから電車で行くのが楽しそうです。
Since the name was changed to the Kada Sakana Line and tourist trains started running, Kada has become a date spot, and it seems that the number of younger generation visitors is increasing.
Kada itself is a fishing port town, and as tourism resources, there are a small beach, an old hot spring inn, and Awashima Shrine to some extent.
It seems to be a good example of the railway being the driving force behind tourist destinations.
In addition to Nana, Kai, and Sachi, Kashira has also appeared on the sightseeing train Medetai Densha. It seems to be fun to go to Kada by train after checking the operation information of each car.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 南海電鉄加太線の終点、加太駅です。
加太線は「加太さかな線」という愛称が付けられ、鯛の模様を施し、魚や海をモチーフにしたかわいい内装のペイント列車「めでたいでんしゃ」を運行しています。
めでたいでんしゃは4種類あって、ピンク色が「さち」、水色が「かい」、赤色が「なな」、黒色が「かしら」とそれぞれ名付けられています。
また、駅では“めでたいでんしゃ”にちなんだ掲示物などがたくさん飾られ、グッズも販売されています。
お約束の「顔はめパネル」もしっかりと設置されていました。
今回はバイクでの訪問だったため、入場券を購入してホームで「かしら」の見物と写真撮影を行いましたが、私の他にも電車の写真を撮影されている方が何人かおられて、その人気の高さがうかがえました。
駅からは少し歩かないといけませんが、加太漁港や加太海水浴場、淡嶋神社、明治時代に作られた砲台跡など、周辺には結構見どころが点在しています。
また、淡路島との間にうかぶ、こちらも砲台などの要塞の後が多く残る友ヶ島へ渡る連絡船のりばもこちらの加太駅が最寄りです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By train, I arrived here from Kansai Airport via Kinokawa on May 21, 2019. It is cosy probably due to its fun train schedules but smaller than I imagined. I went from here to Wakayama-Shi Station and found that it was not the Wakayama Station!
