以下は『攻城団』の説明です。
樺沢城は上杉謙信が関東進出の宿城に使った城です。上杉景勝の生誕の地でもあります。「御館の乱」の際には上杉景虎に味方した北条氏が荒戸城とともに攻略しましたが、冬の到来を前に一部の将兵を残して関東へ帰陣したため、景勝の軍勢に攻められ落城しました。現在も城址には畝状竪堀群などの遺構が良く残っています。

Kabazawa Castle is a castle used by Kenshin Uesugi as an inn for the Kanto region. It is also the birthplace of Uesugi Kagekatsu. During the "Siege of Otate", Mr. Hojo, who was on the side of Uesugi Kagetora, captured with Arato Castle, but before the arrival of winter, he returned to the Kanto region, leaving some soldiers behind, so he was attacked by the scenic army. The castle has fallen. Even now, the remains of ridge-shaped pits and other remains are well preserved on the ruins of the castle.
