S	Shige SHIMOYAMA on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The greatest animal park in Nagano city, though a small park rather than others however this is a completely FREE, even merry-go-round, and other big attractions for kids aged less 6 years, otherwise kids in elementary school should pay JPY100, and 300 for adult. I have never seen like this in other cities. Parking lot is free but too small, better to visit at early morning.
K	K T on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredibly depressing. The seals looked very stressed in their small enclosures. Some of the monkeys had large visible wounds. This place either should not exist or needs better funding/take an admission fee.

You get to see a great variety of animals - seals, snow monkeys, peacocks, deer, goose, swans, penguins, squirrels and more. Some exhibits have cages which make taking good photos hard. Overall pretty cool place to visit if you've got some spare time on your hands, especially if you have children.

B	B H on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sad empty zoo. All the enclosures look too small. The deer in the corner have only a concrete square to stand on. It’s free, but I’d rather pay and see the animals in better conditions.
