s	sherri smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice salon in the Ginza area of Tokyo. Getting haircuts in a foreign country when you don't speak the language very well is difficult. But we found this salon and our stylist, Ai, on an expat website. She speaks English, and does a really nice job cutting and styling my hair and my husband's hair also. Prices seem to be pretty middle of the road... There are cheaper places, but also much more expensive places in Tokyo. This is a reasonably priced full service hair salon. Convenient location in central Tokyo.

My friend wanted to go from black to a lighter brown where she didn't use any bleach and as a result the hair didn't get really lighter. We didn't complain so it was alright. Another concern is that she didn't cut the hair close to our face. All in all I am pretty satisfied with the haircut, also my hair was really smooth afterwards!

I took my Japanese friend so I didn’t have any communication problems but I think it would be easy to communicate using simple English and gestures. The guy who did my hair, Tsugu, was really friendly and professional. He did an amazing job! I would definitely go to Joule again.

Being a foreigner I had no difficulty in expressing what I wanted.Would definitely recommend it specially for non-Japanese speaker/foreigners. Got a haircut and also got highlights for the first time. Price was reasonable and the stylist took time to explain me the pro-cons and suggest accordingly.

Though the staff can't communicate in English, they asked their questions by asking colleagues or others via Kakao... Haha. The Google translate sucks.. anyhow, I got what I want and the blow-dry was excellent. Got a brand new image!
