★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 深谷上杉四宿老の一人、岡谷香丹の居館。息子の岡谷清英は上杉謙信からも武勇を評される。岡谷氏は岡部六弥太ゆかりの宿根の清心寺も再興している。この付近の土は日本煉瓦のレンガの原料に使われた。
The residence of Kotan Okaya, one of the four seniors of Fukaya Uesugi. His son, Kiyohide Okaya, is also praised by Kenshin Uesugi for his bravery. Mr. Okaya is also reviving Seishinji Temple, which is an inn related to Rokuyata Okabe. The soil around here was used as a raw material for Japanese bricks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 唐沢川沿い、さんごうばしの傍らに、解説板が有る。レンガの原料として採土され、遺構は無いようです。
There is a commentary board along the Karasawa River, beside Sangobashi. It was collected as a raw material for bricks, and there seems to be no remains.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 唐沢川の袂、石碑と説明版が建っています、と思ったら、石碑は唐窪放水路記念碑とあり、治水事業の碑みたいです。
唐沢川をちょっと（300m位南）上るとこんな治水設備もありました（皿沼水管橋）。
If you think that there is a stone wall and a stone monument of the Karasawa River, the stone monument is the Karakubo spillway memorial and it looks like a flood control monument.
There was such a flood control facility when going up Karasawa River (south 300m south) (Saranuma Suidobashi).
