It is a little bit of a hike getting down but there are plenty of steps and the air is a lot cooler and fresher once you get to the bottom. Be sure to try wild boar at the restaurant upstairs as well as the fresh wasabi ice cream. You can also go fishing in the stream at the base of the waterfall

In addition, there is rental fishing place where you can catch the rainbow trouts and have a bbq after that. It is fun experiences for family to experiences fishing for beginner and children.

K	Kristin P on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While the waterfall is pretty cool, the area surrounding it is a forced tourist town. There are some good snacks places, but not restaurants. Plus side is lots of free parking, but be prepared for a lot of stairs to get to the falls.

It seems they created an irrigation system using the waterfall to continuously water all the wasabi plants, so the sound of all the water rushing through us really relaxing. They offer fishing and even sell some wasabi ice cream (it’s just vanilla ice cream with some wasabi on top. Be careful it’s super spicy haha we got heartburn after eating it and walking up all the steps). Definitely recommend it as a quick stop to anyone passing through Shizuoka, especially for the first time.

Take a long, long staircase to the waterfall. When I got down to the bottom, wasabi, a special product of Izu, was cultivated. It is agriculture that makes use of clean water. There was a fishing pond service on the river, and many people enjoyed fishing. There is a beautiful waterfall in front of you, and you can feel the negative ions throughout your body. On the way back, you have to go up the long long stairs. I am very tired. However, it is worth going to the bottom to see the waterfall.
