★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This location is very rude. Yep, I get it. Ya make awesome food and maybe having the cryptic entrance helps dissuade tourists but if someone takes the time to find this place and the courage to ask amid a group of locals for a table...I think you should be a little nicer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came by this joint whilst strolling around Dogenzaka. They were booked out but I waited in case there was a no-show - about 10 min which was worth it. No English menu (not that I asked) but most of the skewers are stored in front of you so you can somewhat make out what it is and the menu does have some images as well. Would definitely come again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing selection of meats and skewers. Seemingly quite expensive but a very nice experience over all. Occasionally when ordering more food took a while which was a shame and the entrance it literally a back alley staircase... Took us a good 15 minutes to find it. But when all is said and done the food and drink was really good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food and quick service! You should make a reservation before hand if you want to make sure that you have a table without waiting. If it is your birthday, the staff will all sing happy birthday to you and play some loud fun music in the whole restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always a good experience at Jomon. This was the first time visiting this outlet as I usually have been to the one in Rappongi in the past. It lives up to expectations except for one thing....it doesn’t have the corn on the menu that the rappongi one does. I believe this is on the specials for that particular dish and may not have been on that night.
Staff struggle with English but that’s ok. There is an English menu you can just point at. the vibe of the place is vibrant. We’re here on a Friday night and everyone is fully into conversation, drinks and having a laugh. Great Atmosphere!
They gave us complimentary cheesecake st the end.
