S	SHIN “グーフィー” K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 名物カレーが好きで大阪に来た時はだいたい来ます。店員さんの態度はまあ別として、辛いのが好きな方はおすすめかと思います。家族で来て内3人は不味くて一口であと残したというクチコミを見ましたが、そもそも食べ物を残すなって話。不快でした。あと店員さんの態度がという方は、なんば本店の方をおすすめします！ I like curry, which is a specialty, and when I come to Osaka, I usually come. Apart from the attitude of the clerk, I think it is recommended for those who like spicy food. I saw a word of mouth that three of them came with their families and left a bite because it was unpleasant, but they talked about leaving food in the first place. It was unpleasant. Also, if you have a clerk's attitude, I recommend the Namba main store!
名	名無しの権兵衛 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大阪へ行った際は毎回訪れる自由軒。難波本店は常に混み合っている上にコロナ禍でどの様になっているか分からない状態。また本店は極端に狭い作りですし向かい合って座る、相席は当たり前。しかし天保山店はそういう事が一切ないので個人的にはとても嬉しい店舗。辛いだの寂れているだのと言われていますが、今に始まった事ではなく、辛いのは本店も同じ。寂れているのは天保山マーケットプレース自体の集客が少ないので仕方のないこと。お土産屋さんと地元の人でも行かなそうな微妙なお店しか並んでいない、大体の方はフードコートで食事を済ませてしまうとなれば自由軒だけでなく、食いしんぼ横丁の他のお店が静かな感じなのも納得がいくかと思います。 ※その昔はもうちょっと賑わっていたマーケットプレースですが、コロナ前にはもう寂れていました。さて肝心のお味は本店と遜色ない辛さ、量でとても満足。本店のメニューの量には当然負けますが、先にも記した様にゆったり座れるので個人的には本店より好きです。お子様連れの方々も殺伐とした雰囲気の本店にはかなり行きにくいと思いますが、天保山店なら行けるかと思います。実際毎回行くたびに小さなお子様連れの方がいます。オススメなので是非。 Jiyuken that I visit every time I go to Osaka. There are only souvenir shops and delicate shops that even locals can go to, and most people will not only eat at the food court, but also at Naniwa Kuishinbo. I think it makes sense that the store is quiet. * In the old days, the marketplace was a little more crowded, but before Corona, it was already lonely. By the way, the essential taste is as spicy and quantity as the main store, and I am very satisfied. Of course, I lose the amount of menu at the main store, but as I mentioned earlier, I can sit comfortably, so I personally like it more than the main store. We traveled with a baby (11months) From another country and it is not practice to feed baby with fried food or curry but as the parents we were going to try this place. The rude person said everyone must order a meal. And we asked if that included the baby too. The rude person gave us an attitude said of course. I thought Japanese are nice. Guess not all are.
w	weishun wang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1 week in Japan and this is by far the worst dining experience. Should have seen all the signs when going in- grumpy boss and empty tables upon entering. Menu were thrown to us on the table rudely, at that moment we should have stood up and left. And thus began the nightmare... their supposedly signature curry rice with raw egg looked and tasted bad. We did not touch the rice again after the 1st bite. Fried items were mediocre, perhaps you can find better and cheaper ones from the convenience shop here in Japan. Prices are also on the high side- a curry rice without any toppings already cost 800¥. Also they have a 1 main per pax dining policy, which was told to us only when we wanted to order. Most restaurants would have told you up front or mentioned it on their menu. The boss and the food served here is an utter disgrace to Japan, you can find plenty of delicious meals and great service. This eatery is definitely not a true representation of how Osaka should be.

We came through here initially to do some sightseeing and shopping indoors since a typhoon was nearing. We got here a little past 11 AM and the restaurant was empty. This was great since the Namba location always has a line out the door. The food was consistent with the other locations and terrific overall. The ambiance of the location is different as you would expect of a mall location. The restaurant did end up filling up by the time I ended eating with tourists as well.

Food was served fast as well, so we were happy customers. But like many other reviews, service was lacking. They hire really young waiters (I would think they're high school or college students) but these kids really don't live up to the Japanese standards of service.
