★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 行徳緑地を通り抜ける細い道を聖さんの方向に進んで行く途中に古刹がみえました。曹洞宗の｢慈眼寺」です。
寺に駐車場があるとは言え、細いすれ違いの出来ない道沿いの寺ですから車で何回か寺の前は通りましたが、目には全く入らず今日歩いて前を通り、初めて古刹｢慈眼寺」に正対です。
寺門辺りには(人権)(環境問題)(自家発電)(太陽エネルギー)等々、現在の避けては通れないテーマについてお寺の積極的な取組みについての行動アピールが掲げられています。
門を入り拝殿前に立ち合掌。
拝殿横に寺の由緒が示され(亥の像)が設置されています。
聖徳太子や空海、長慶院法王(第98代長慶天皇・後醍醐天皇の皇孫)等多くの偉人とご縁があり、朝廷より勅宣領地として(品治)を賜るとの事です。
現在も地名として｢品治(ほんじ)」は使用されています。
こうした由緒ある｢慈眼寺」が今直面のテーマについて真剣に考え行動に出られているお姿に敬服します。
近くの行徳緑地の木々の葉が紅葉し、辺りの道に散り落ちています。今日は少し肌寒い一日で道行く人は上着のジャンパー姿が目立ちました。
寺にも秋から冬への季節の移り変わりが感じられました。
An old burial mound was seen on the way to the saint along the narrow road that passed through Gyotoku Ryokuchi. This is the Jiyoji Temple of Soto Sect.
Although there is a parking lot at the temple, it is a temple along the road that can not pass each other, so I passed the temple several times by car, but I did not get into my eyes at all and walked in front of me. It is directly opposite to Jinji Temple.
Around Temple Gate, there are action appeals about the temple's active efforts on current themes that cannot be avoided, such as (human rights) (environmental issues) (self-generated electricity) (solar energy).
Enter the gate and stand in front of the worship hall.
The history of the temple is shown next to the worship hall (a statue of a frog).
There are many great ties such as Prince Shotoku, Kukai, and the Chokei-in Pope (the 98th Emperor of the Emperor Changqing and Emperor Gogo), and he is said to have received (Shinji) as a sanctuary from the Imperial Court.
“Honji” is still used as a place name. *
I admired the appearance of this venerable “Ji-ji Temple” that is seriously thinking about the theme it is facing now and taking action.
The leaves of the nearby Gyotoku Ryokuchi are colored in autumn and are scattered around the road. Today's little chilly day, people who go on the road are conspicuous in jumper jackets.
The temple also felt a change in season from autumn to winter.
