Iyataka Shrine - Akita

20200411 I was playing Namahage on a TV program, so I went to the first Oga Peninsula Bullet Tour! The weather was good and I woke up a little early and left at 6:00. I was able to transfer to the toll road in a short time and arrive at the Oga Peninsula before noon! The first half of this bullet tour "Oga no Namahage" will end, and we will move to the "Ruins of ruins & shrines" in the second half! We have completed worship at "Koshi 4 Shrine" and aim for "Kubota Castle Ruins" & "Mayataka Shrine"! The Kubota Castle Ruins are now being maintained as "Chiaki Park"! I parked my car at a nearby parking lot, and it was around 15:00, so I hurried to "Yataka Shrine"! Next to Yataka Shrine, there is a wedding hall of Yataka Shrine and a French restaurant Senshutei, which I thought was "very spacious!" There were many families in the park, but there were few people who worship and it was almost reserved! The approach to the main shrine and the precincts were swept clean! After worshiping, I received a red stamp at the office. At that time, Mr. Miyaji even gave me a map saying, "Hachiman Akita Shrine in the park also supports red stamps, so it's still in time!" Yataka Shrine: Settled in the site of Kubota Castle and the current Chiaki Park. It is a shrine dedicated to Atsushi Hirata and Nobufuchi Sato, who are representatives of Akita in the Edo period. It is the beginning of the Hirata Shrine that was built in Yashihashi, Akita City in 1891, and dedicated to Atsushi Hirata's adult life. It was founded as "Yataka Shrine" in 1842, when it enshrined the ancestor Sato Shinbuchi, and moved to its present location in 1915. The name of the company seems to have been named by the 9th domain lord, Yoshikazu's "Sonomiyataka". Atsushi Hirata is said to be the four adults of national studies with Nobunaga Motoi, Mabuchi Kamo, and Harumitsu Karuta. The multi-talented person has a wide range of history including ancient history, religions, easy studies, calendar studies, medicine, literature, military studies, Dutch studies, and has written articles such as Aoi delusional books, Masafumi ancient history, ancient history signs, and spiritual true pillars. However, the idea was regarded as dangerous for the Edo Shogunate who maintained the feudal system, and the Shogunate issued an order to "stop writing and leave the national permit" and returned to Akita. The current shrine is the shrine of "Shohachimansha", the sacred god of Mr. Satake in the former Kubota castle.

This year, in 2022, I visited Iyataka Shrine for the first time. I bought a rake and a bill. The shrine maiden who works part-time is also kind and will do her best this year as well.

It's a nice place ❗ The atmosphere changes and you feel refreshed. Of course, I also received a red stamp.

It is located a little away from Senshu Park. The precincts are also beautiful and you can feel the history.
