国生み神話の伝承地らしい「絵島」
洞窟に神社がある「岩楠神社」
昔ながらの商店街「岩屋商店街」
すべて徒歩圏内です。
乗り場があるビルも、空き店舗が多くある中で、市場のような店があったり、飲食店街があったり、昔の駅前にあった謎のビルの雰囲気を残しています。
もちろん夕日はきれいです。
淡路島一周のシメは、ジェノバラインがよかったです。

Old-fashioned shopping street "Iwaya shopping street"
All are within walking distance.

無料と有料のバスが出ているらしいのだが、なんの案内も書かれていないのでバスが来るのかどこへ行くのかなにも分からない。
絵島は立ち入り禁止で、
帰りに売店で玉ねぎを買って帰ることに。

明石海峡大橋を、堪能できます。
船も、カラフルな絵で、装飾されて可愛いです。
原付二種、自転車は、大橋を通れ無いので、この船が運んでくれます。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice ferry service between akashi and awaji. Good frequency. Reasonable price. Ticket vending machines available, and local goods sold near by. Bicycle rental right next door. The ship deck (just roof) can get really hot, loud and crowded.
