珍しい粟ようかんも冷やして美味しかったです。

観光地なんで17時前には 商品がなくなります。

お土産には日持ちのする冷凍のものをSAで購入しました。

ご当地名物を頂くのは旅の楽しみの一つで
こちらにくるまで「あわまんじゅう」を知らなかったのですが、目に入った瞬間、衝動買いしました。
くせなく素朴な味で何個でも食べられる感じ
店員さんも応対よく、周辺のオススメスポットを伺ったら親切にこたえて頂き、一人旅の楽しさを堪能することができました。

皮は、ふっくらしっとりで、中はこし餡でさらっと食えます。

栗入りの茶色の饅頭もありました。
混んでいて販売員のおねーさまが、てんてこまいでした。

The Awa-manjyu is a traditional sweet Japanese cake, which is made of the skin of a mixture of millet grain and glutinous rice and with the sweetened Azuki bean in center. The head quarter of the Koike cake shop is located in Yanaizu, which is about 30 km west of Aizuwakamatsu. In the past, we had to visit Yanaizu when we want to taste the Awa-manjyu, but now we can buy it here, Iimori-san. Some times, we have to wait the Awa-manjyu so long, because of hand made one by one in front of us. Wait and taste the hot Awa-manjyu, here, when it is steamed.
