It's hard if you don't have mountain climbing experience, but you can climb up in 30 minutes and the scenery is the best mountain.

頂上こそまさに地味ですが、展望岩からの眺めは最高です！
It's a quiet mountain that isn't very popular, but it's best to climb it when you have a little free time for half a day.
The summit is just plain, but the view from the observation rock is amazing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ コロナの影響で自粛中。散歩から散策にて大茶臼展望台へ、東側の畑峠より30分、昼食をいただき展望を満喫しました。
I am refraining from doing so due to the influence of Corona. From walk to walk, we went to the Ochausu Observatory for 30 minutes from Hata Pass on the east side, and enjoyed the view with lunch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昼過ぎ、チョイ山を物色していて、近場の大茶臼山に決定！己斐峠を越えたあたりに、道がチョット広くなった場所があり、数台車が止まっていたので駐車。
頂上まで、歩いて１時間かかりません。
素晴らしいが眺望ありますから、隙間時間にまた来たいと思ってます。
After noon, I was looking for Mt. Choi and decided to go to Mt. Ochausu nearby! Around the crossing of Kikai Pass, there was a place where the road became a little wider, and several cars were stopped, so I parked.
It takes less than an hour to walk to the top.
It's wonderful, but it has a great view, so I'd like to come back again in the gap time.
