It seems to be used as an event in the Ishie area, a martial arts classroom, and a polling place for elections. Please visit during the daytime on weekdays and ask the branch manager for details.

町内の皆さんの努力でときどき行事やイベントをしてくださります。
感謝です。
2018年度から町内祭りが復活したようで楽しみにさせてもらってます。新駅の建設にともない色々なご苦労があったこの地域
子供の数も減少ですが 賑わって助け合って過ごせると良いですね。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 新しくてきれいな公民館です。昔の建物には思い出がありますが変わってしまいました。いい意味で。使いでがとてもよさそうです。
It is a new and beautiful public hall. There are memories in the old building, but it has changed. In a good sense. It looks very good to use.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 新青森駅のすぐ近くで青森市に点在している市民センターの一つです。駐車場の片隅には「明治天皇御休跡」の石碑があり歴史を感じる事ができます。
1881年（明治14年）9月9日、明治天皇は弘前へ向かわれる途中にここ石江の江渡茂吉宅で休憩されたそうです。
It is one of the civic centers scattered around Aomori City near Shin-Aomori Station. In one corner of the parking lot, there is a stone monument of "Emperor Meiji's Rest", and you can feel the history.
On September 9, 1881 (Meiji 14), Emperor Meiji took a break here at Edo Shigekichi's house in Ishie on his way to Hirosaki.
