★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 広い駐車場があります。受付と本殿へのご挨拶を済ませて、長い石階段を上ります。１５０段位あります。焦らずゆっくり登ります。
登り終えると、無数の石塔の中にひときわ大きな石造三重塔があります。
少し見慣れない形です。国指定重要文化財です。
この石塔の右側に石塔に囲まれた、宝塔一棟と五輪塔二棟も国指定重要文化財です。
山の上を一周するように石塔に囲まれた遊歩道があります。一周１０分以下と思います。是非めぐってみてください。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ そこそこの段数の階段を上ると、小さな石がズラリと並んでいてびっくりしました。今まで見たことのない風景でした。近くにある金剛輪寺も地蔵が並ぶお寺ですが、こちらは一面石です。圧倒されます。
駐車場はそこまで広くないですが停めやすかったです。公衆トイレあり。
I was surprised to see small stones lined up in a row when I went up the stairs. It has never been seen before. The nearby Kongorinji Temple is also a temple with Jizo, but this is a stone. I will be overwhelmed.
The parking lot was not that big but it was easy to park. There is a public toilet.

少し古代っぽい雰囲気の漂う境内には多少ですが、境内には紅葉もあり秋の風情でした。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 山麓の本堂は、綺麗な庭の普通のお寺という感じですが、山上の石塔群は一見の価値があります。こっちがメインですね。仁和寺の法師にならないようにしましょう。
150段超えの階段をえっちらおっちらと汗をかきつつ上り詰めると阿育王塔を中心とした石仏の圧巻の光景が広がります。一対何体あるのか、一面の石仏です。異国情緒を感じます。山上は石仏群と山林の中をぐるっと一周回れる道がついていますので、歩いてみましょう。拝観料400円です。
