A small forest in the middle of Tokyo, this lovely park offers a nice nature experience for those who want to enjoy sone greenery without leaving the big city. The path leads to different woods and ponds where visitors are able to see native trees, plants, insects and birds. The koyo season (autumn leaves) is a great time to visit, with momiji trees scattered all over the park. Entrance fee: ¥320 per adult.

A great place if you need to take a break from the city but don't have the time to actually go hiking. Very nice momiji colours in the autumn (best bring your long lens for these!) It takes about 1.5h to walk around the park (you can only walk on paths). There are no great views but it's enough to get a "Nature fix" because the plants have a "wild" look about them and there are no vending machines or shops apart from the ones at the exit/entrance. If you plan on having a picnic, there are benches and toilets in various places around the park but no thrash cans. The paths are not paved and can get muddy after the rain.

Great park in the midst of Tokyo. Enjoyed bird watching there. Highly recommended for Tokyoites who are seeking nature as well as for tourists.

My first experience of shinrin-yoku. Its in the city, though you can see and hear the city is some part of the forest, its still a great experience and reminds you of the stark city hustle-forest peace contrast. Trees planted in 1950 stand tall and strong. We got to see Eastern Spot Billed Duck and several turtles. Entry fee is 310yen/ head and the trail takes 45mins to 1 hr but we spent about 4 hours. We went with a toddler and it was very safe. Prams may be difficult to use in some parts.

Great park! Has a few ponds, ducks, trees, plants, weed. what else do you need? wasn't so crowded even on a nice fall sunday. i would recommend this place to grab a book to read or have onigiri in.

Came on a warm and sunny Saturday summers day - it wasn't too busy, though there were quite a few people. It's basically a nice Forrest trail. My kids enjoyed it as they could find numerous bugs - they found rhino beetles, stag bettles and smaller beetles. Quite a few people taking pictures of butterfly and dragon flies. Overall it's a nice walk. 320 yen entry for adults and kids are free.

Nice place for escaping Tokyo concrete streets. Expected more something like botanical garden but it was more just like a small natural piece of forest, nice and peaceful but nothing really special in terms of views or blooming flowers

Quite a nice place for a stroll. We walked very slow observing the nature and stayed around 1h - 1.5h. Though it was a hot summer day of 32℃, the trees covered the light so it felt much cooler :) There are nice benches too so you can take your kids there and have lunch box probably ☺️ Entrance fee is ¥320 for an adult.
