ローカルな史跡が大好きでよくいきます。
ここは因島村上氏の居城だったところで、口コミをみて、見るからに大好きなオーラが漂っていたので行ってみました。
結論から言いますと、私は好きですが登山と地味な史跡が大好きな人以外にはお勧めできません。
★5つつけといてどうなのそれ。
まず、キューブで入るのがためらわれるくらい道がせんまい。せんまい。
おもちの方は、ぜひ軽で行ってください。
運転苦手な人は向き変えるのも嫌だろうなっていう、ちょっとした広場に車を停めることができます。
私たちが行ったときは軽が1台停まってただけだったので、向きが変えられました。
息子（8歳♂）は登山口までの道のりで何度も「や、やっぱやめとこう」って繰り返してました。
足もとはなんなら登山靴をお勧めします。
間違ってもヒールで登らないように。
駐車場？から山を登ること30分くらい？
山頂の城跡に到着します。
途中で「残り300m」の看板を見たあと、「残り500m」の看板が出てきます。
こっちの気力を奪おうというワナなので気を付けて！

山頂からの景色はなかなか良かったです。
いかにも瀬戸内海らしく小さな島が密集しています。
山頂には休憩用のベンチや東屋、石碑がいくつか建っている程度で、城跡の痕跡はとても分かりにくくなっています。
四方が見渡せるので、海から攻めてくる敵を発見しやすかったんだろうなと妄想すると、ワクワクしました。
ここだけ行くと妄想癖のある人しか満足できないので、ぜひ因島水軍城の資料館にも立ち寄ってください。

道は看板通りに行けば良いけど、結構急な坂道もあり、杖はあった方が楽かな!

路も綺麗に整備されていました、山頂と山頂横の展望台は絶景でした。
村上水軍がどうして因島本拠地にしたのか良くわかるくらい海峡がよく見えます。
大山峠からだと総上り下りは３６０mくらいで、約１時間くらいでした。
It was a vertical run from Oyama Pass.
