★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この駅から「青春18きっぷ」で入場しようと改札に青春18きっぷを出したところ、駅員がブツブツと何か言っていた。聞き取れないくらい小さい声だったので何を言っていたのかはわからないが、気分の良いものではない。
 When I put out the Seishun 18 Ticket at the ticket gate to enter from this station with the "Seishun 18 Ticket", the station staff said something lumpy. I don't know what he was saying because the voice was so quiet that I couldn't hear it, but it didn't feel good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2021年7月現在、JR稲田堤駅は改修中のため、出入口は下り立川行きのホーム側に移されています。これまで、踏切を電車が通過していても、上りの川崎行きに滑り込みセーフでしたが、これは出来なくなっています。ご注意ください。その代わり立川行きのホームからは、すぐに外に出られます。
As of July 2021, JR Inadazutsumi Station is under renovation, so the entrance has been moved to the platform side for Tachikawa. Until now, even if the train passed the railroad crossing, it was safe to slip up to Kawasaki, but this is no longer possible. Please be careful. Instead, you can get out of the platform for Tachikawa immediately.

南武線で神奈川県内最北に位置する。
地上駅であり、改札は北口上り線（立川方面）ホーム側のみで下り線（川崎方面）からは駅上橋を渡る必要がある。
橋上駅化の計画化があるが、用地買収が難航し遅延している。
※2021年11月駅舎改修工事施行中なので東口仮設改札のみのみ営業。
Opened in 1971 (Showa 2).
Located in the northernmost part of Kanagawa prefecture on the Nambu line.
It is a ground station, and the ticket gate is only on the platform side of the north exit up line (toward Tachikawa), and you need to cross the station bridge from the down line (toward Kawasaki).
There is a plan to make it a bridge station, but land acquisition has been difficult and delayed.
* Since the station building renovation work is underway in November 2021, only the east exit temporary ticket gate is open.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 工事中の影響で改札口が前より狭くなり、武蔵小杉方面に行く場合は階段を登る必要が発生するようになった。また改札口前の道路が狭く朝のラッシュ時には混み合うので車やバイク、自転車には気をつけて移動したほうがよいと思います。
