平	平野善信 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ １９０９年１２月末、辰野駅から此の駅迄伊那電気軌道開業時から機関庫併設で当初の駅名は松島駅と名のっていた駅。其れから暫くした１９２３年３月、本家筋にあたる東北本線松島駅に遠慮してか？まだ伊那電気鉄道時代に現在の駅名に変更されたようです。駅名を松島駅と名付けられた経緯は不明ですが、考えられるとすれば近くを流れる天竜川に沢山の中洲が有り、木が茂った風景が松島そっくりだったかもね？知らんけど!! 時は流れた現在でも、此の駅とJR東海の運輸区は存在しますが、往年のゲタ電花盛りの頃の賑わいは、今は昔です。 At the end of December 1909, from Tatsuno Station to this station, the station was originally named Matsushima Station with an engine warehouse from the opening of the Ina Electric Railway.
