★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 千曲川に架かる〔綱切橋〕東詰（県道３８号線）の〔赤地蔵〕は、安永の義民の霊を祀ったといわれる地蔵様で、現在は交通安全を祈っている。その脇に芭蕉の句碑がある。
横吹や駒もいなゝく雪嵐 はせを（存疑句）
同じ句の碑が、坂城町の苅屋原ミニパークにもある。
〔綱切橋〕 あの川中島の合戦の際、不利になった上杉軍が、追ってくる武田軍から逃れるために渡し綱を切って橋を落としたと伝えられる。
