検査する人が急にくるので怪しいと思うかとは思いますが、大丈夫です。もし、不安なら検査前に1度契約しているガス会社に聞いてみた方がいいと思います。二つ返事で検査してくださいと言うはずですよ。また、契約しているガス会社が検査費用を負担するので、支払いは発生しませんとも言っていました。(支払いを求められた場合は詐欺だそうです。)
安全にガスを使うためにも検査を受けた方がいいと思います。
