★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 井出の沢古戦場は、南北朝時代に発生した中先代の乱の古戦場です。
元弘3年（1333）にはじまった後醍醐天皇による建武の新政は、武家を軽んじたため各地で武家の不満が高まりました。そのような中、かつて鎌倉幕府の執権を務めた北条氏の得宗である高時の子時行が、建武2年（1335）、反乱の兵を挙げました。これが中先代の乱です。信濃から鎌倉奪還を目指し南下した時行の兵は、この井出の沢の地で足利尊氏の弟直義によって迎撃されました。激戦の末、時行の軍は足利氏勢を破り鎌倉を占領しましたが、わずか20日余りで足利尊氏・直義の軍に鎮定されました。
現在、菅原神社、町田市立体育館及び市営グランドのある場所が、井出の沢古戦場跡と伝えられています。
The Ide-no-Sawa Battlefield is an ancient battlefield of the Chuetsu era that occurred during the Northern and Southern Dynasties.
The new administration of Kenmu by Emperor Daigo after the 3rd year of Motohiro (1333) was a disdain for the samurai, and dissatisfaction with the samurai increased in various places. Against this backdrop, Kotoko no Tokiko, a prodigy of Hojo who once served as the Kamakura Shogunate, nominated a rebel soldier in 1335. This is the turbulence of the Middle Ages. The troops who went south from Shinano in an attempt to retake Kamakura were intercepted by Takayoshi Ashikaga's younger brother Naoyoshi in this land of Ide no Sawa. After the fierce battle, Toki's army defeated Ashikaga and occupied Kamakura, but it was settled as Takashi Ashikaga's army in just 20 days.
At present, the site of Sugawara Shrine, Machida City Gymnasium and Municipal Grand is said to be the site of Ide no Sawako Battlefield.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鎌倉街道のすぐ傍にある中世の古戦場跡。近くを流れる恩田川の水源地の一つだったため「沢」の名がつき、鎌倉街道の格好の休憩地とされた。建武二年（1335）に北条時行が鎌倉幕府の再興をはかって起こした中先代の乱では、時行軍に対して足利直義が自ら出陣したが敗走した。
The ruins of an ancient medieval battlefield right next to the Kamakura Kaido. Since it was one of the water sources of the Onda River that flows nearby, it was named "Sawa" and was considered a good resting place on the Kamakura Kaido. In the 2nd year of Kenmu (1335), Hojo Tokiyuki tried to revive the Kamakura Shogunate, and in the mid-predecessor turbulence, Ashikaga Tadayoshi himself departed for the Toki March, but he was defeated.

北条時行公と足利直義公が激しく衝突し、足利直義公が敗北して東海道に逃げ帰った戦地跡です?
現在は木々や数社のお堂やその戦に関する石碑、看板があるだけの整備された敷地になっています?
お堂に鎮座している獅子的な雰囲気の狛犬さん達がちょっとたよりげない表情が可愛かった☺️
またそこからの町並みの景色も普通に良かった??
一応東京都の旧跡に指定されています✨✨✨
