★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 須川温泉駐車場から歩いて15分程で着きます。山野草の季節は手軽に高山植物を楽しめ、紅葉の季節は見事な紅葉の真ん中に立つことが出来るかと思います。
 It takes about 15 minutes on foot from the Sukawa Onsen parking lot. You can easily enjoy alpine plants during the wild grass season, and you can stand in the middle of the beautiful autumn leaves during the autumn leaves season.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 須川温泉まで車やバスで来ているなら、名残ヶ原までは普段着にスニーカーでも行くことはできます。とても美しい景色が楽しめて、散歩にはうってつけでした。
ここから栗駒山もはっきり見えますが、山頂を目指すなら確かな装備と準備が必要です。
If you come to Sugawa Onsen by car or bus, you can go to Nagogahara by sneakers for everyday use. I enjoyed the beautiful scenery and was perfect for a walk.
From here, you can clearly see Mount Kurikoma, but if you want to reach the summit, you need to be surely equipped and ready.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2019.10.2 今年は平年よりやや遅れて秋がやってきました。須川温泉登山口から足を進めて行くと目の前に湿原が拡がる。
真っ直ぐ伸びた木道、その先には素晴らしい錦秋の山並みが呼んでいる。そんな思いにさせてくれる場所です。
2019.10.2 Autumn has come this year slightly later than normal. The marshland spreads out in front of you as you go forward from the Sukawa Onsen trailhead.
A straight tree road, and beyond that is a wonderful mountain range. It is a place that makes me think that way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 南南東にまっすぐ伸びる木道、その先に目指す栗駒山が聳え立つ姿が絵になります。
登山開始という気持ちと、非日常の開放感がたまらない場所です。大好きです。晴れていたら、山に登らずここを散策して、温泉に浸かっていた誘惑に駆られます。真すぐ進むと、その先には地獄（谷）が待っていますからね。
The picture shows the wooden path extending straight to the south-southeast and the towering Mt. Kurikoma.
It is a place where the feeling of starting mountain climbing and the feeling of extraordinary openness are irresistible. I love it. If it's sunny, you can take a walk here without climbing the mountain and be tempted to soak in the hot springs. If you go straight ahead, hell (valley) will be waiting for you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5月31日に行きました。きれいな花もちらほらと咲いていました。景色も良かったです。初夏と紅葉の時期にまた来たいと思いました。なお、須川高原温泉からここに来るまでの案内表示が不親切だと思いました。
I went on May 31st. Beautiful flowers were blooming here and there. The scenery was also good. I wanted to come again in early summer and autumn leaves. In addition, I thought that the guidance display from Sukawa Kougen Onsen to here was unfriendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 夜明けすぐに散策しました。須川温泉源泉横からプチ登山。足元がぬかるんでるので注意は必要です。
地獄釜経由で下山しました。
I took a walk immediately after dawn. Petit mountain climbing from the side of Sukawa Onsen source. Be careful as your feet are muddy.
I went down the mountain via the hell pot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 念願の栗駒山荘に宿泊 日の出に山荘を出て、薄氷が張っている登山道をパキパキと心地よい音を立てて、おいらん風呂を通り展望台向かいました。日の出と共に朝焼けの奥羽山脈や遠くの鳥海山が見えて最高でした。
Staying at the long-desired Kurikoma Sanso I left the mountain lodge at sunrise, made a pleasant noise on the mountain trail covered with thin ice, and headed for the observatory through the Oiran bath. It was great to see the Ou Mountains in the morning glow and Mt. Chokai in the distance with the sunrise.
