★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The history displayed ranges from the earliest foundings of sceletons, the Edo times till today. Showing daily live, invtentions and discoveries, and politics during these times. It also bares interactive objects. Sadly I understood almost nothing as besides the brochure there is nothing in English. 2 Stars for my disappointment that a museum displaying the history of Ibaraki has nothing translated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you have the time the museum is quick and informative with a beautiful garden. On too of all that the entrance fee is inexpensive and English is spoken by several of the staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The grounds outside the museum are lovely and free to walk through. The displays inside the museum are cool as well, though most displays don’t have any English.
