砂	砂原惠 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 奥さんと五大浮世絵師展を観てきました。展示作品が多く、２時間半ほどかけてじっくりみました！(^O^) 疲れた。中から姫路城がよく見えるところがありましたよ。 I have seen my wife and the five great Ukiyo-e painter exhibitions. There were a lot of works on display and I spent about two and a half hours looking carefully! (^ O ^) I was tired. There was a place where I could see Himeji Castle well from the inside.
J	J pate on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 常設展は地域の祭り主体で規模もいまいち。しかし企画展はなかなか面白いものもあり、企画展の内容が興味ある場合は行く価値大です。博物館付属の食堂からは姫路城がよくみえます。空いていて穴場です。 Permanent exhibitions are mainly festivals in the area, but the scale is not good enough. However, some special exhibitions are quite interesting, so if you are interested in the contents of the special exhibition, it is worth going. You can often see Himeji Castle from the cafeteria attached to the museum. It's a vacant place.

It was built in Himeji, which is not the capital of the prefecture, so I was expecting a decent exhibition, but it didn't have that much individuality.

The architecture is based on the image of Himeji Castle by Kenzo Tange. A building consisting of two floors above ground and one underground. A special exhibition "Amazing and mysterious monsters tell" is being held. The mummies of kappa and wonders from all over the world were displayed on Amabiae, Mt. On the other floors, there were exhibits about the history of Himeji Castle, the Himeji Fighting Festival, and children's toys.
J	JIRO N. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 姫路城の敷地内にある、県立博物館。有料ゾーンと無料ゾーンにわけられ、無料ゾーンの一階にはかなり充実した図書コーナーがある。展示は県立だけあって素晴らしいが、警備員、学芸員のレベルが47都道府県で屈指の低さなので辛い星にした。 A prefectural museum on the grounds of Himeji Castle. It is divided into a paid zone and a free zone, and there is a fairly substantial library corner on the first floor of the free zone. The exhibition is wonderful because it is only a prefectural government, but the level of guards and curators is one of the lowest in 47 prefectures, so I made it a spicy star.

The former seemed to be worth it if you've got 20-30 minutes to burn. Did not check out the latter but the Y1000 admission price seemed excessive given the apparently limited floor space (i.e. paid area love led to be smaller than the free area). English language labelling was a bit of a mixed bag... Brief 'section' labels were translated as were many artifact labels, but none of the longer information plaques were translated.

She brought us around, practiced her English and showed us and explained so many exhibits. My wife also, with the help of two girls, was able to put on a traditional kimono. I recommend going here!
