★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was looking for a quiet place to get a good cup of coffee and read my book. This place was exactly what I was looking for. The interior is a bit dated but it added to the atmosphere. The staff was very friendly. I can recommend the butter cake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small, quiet cafe and tea shop; they offer reading materials in Japanese so people can take their time and savor their tea and curry. The shop is family-run, and they make nearly everything in-house, from the drinks to ice cream and cakes to even the plates and cups (which you can also buy). The whole effect is extremely charming, and the owners (an elderly couple and son) are very friendly; I'll definitely go back if I'm in the area again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived just after the last orders time written on the door, but were greeted with big warm smiles and open arms. We were served up absolutely delicious and fresh curry, with tasty salad and a lovely warm tea to finish for only 1100 yen!
The side of the restaurant showcases beautiful homemade ceramics which are available to purchase. The whole place is just incredibly cosy and wonderful, couldn't recommend enough!

The food was delicious - I got the curry set, which is a salad + your choice of curry (beef, pork, chicken, mushroom, or vegetable) + a dessert (all homemade!) or a drink. What really made this place special though was the atmosphere and the elderly couple that run this restaurant. I don't speak Japanese and they barely speak English (they had an adorable handwritten English menu!!), but they were so friendly and nice! I'd definitely recommend this restaurant as a quiet, lovely place to relax and eat / drink tea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the set with a blend of mild and spicy Indian curry with chicken. Chicken was dark meat and dekicious. Salad was all right. It comes with either a drink or dessert. Ice cream looked tempting but I’m trying to be on a diet so I just opted for ice coffee. The older gentleman serving me was very sweet and attentive. I’d come back here again
