は	はるのゆいたろう on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「法音寺」は真言宗豊山派の寺院ですが山号を八海山と号す通りに越後出身の上杉家の創業の歴史を凝縮した寺院となっています。寺域は小さいですが(とは言え脇にある上杉家歴代藩主の霊廟まで入れると巨大な寺域ですが……)本堂内には上杉家(特に初代の上杉謙信公)にまつわる宝物がいっぱいあります。特に春日山城時の謙信公の伝説にもなっている泥毘沙門天像は必見な宝物だと思います。その他にも本尊の大日如来像等もあります。ちなみに見学は庫裏側からお願いすれば本堂内を無料で見学させてくれるとても親切な寺院です。 "Houonji" is a temple of the Shingon sect Toyoyama school, but it is a temple that condenses the history of the founding of the Uesugi family from Echigo on the street whose mountain name is Mt.
